I am a native Spanish translator. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (Spain) and I have worked in this field for more than fifteen years. Since finishing my Studies, both in Spain and in France, establishing myself as an independent translator, my career has focused on a specialization of technical texts (mainly computing) and humanities (journalism, art, etc.), however I have dealt with all facets of translation. I have translated novels, essays, film scripts, advertising texts and graphic novels, among much more.
I frequently work with various translation agencies for which I carry out translations and proofreading of a large variety of documents (general, technical, business related, catalogs, guides, etc.). I am a perfectionist in the fields in which I specialize. I like to be imbued by the tone of the text, to have a good grasp of the subject and theme of the document on which I am working, while familiarizing myself with all of the specific terminology. I feel that such research is essential for an excellent result.
